"We have used The Electrical Guy exclusively for all kinds of work on our home — installation of bathroom vents, an anchored deck (through solid clay soil), installation of French patio doors, hardwood and tile installation on our entire main floor, installation of an additional laundry tub in our basement, and replacement of eight windows — and have been extremely pleased with the results. The quality of the work is excellent, the price is reasonable, and they meet their timelines. "We were referred to The Electrical Guy by a friend, and Jim and Nancy completed a renovation on our 1920s-era Toronto house in 2008. We had new flooring and ceilings installed, a complete electrical update, and had the whole house interior painted. Our kitchen had plumbing repairs made and new walls and insulation installed. Several truckloads of waste were hauled off. Everything that we needed and wanted to have done was taken care of for us.There were three aspects of working with Jim and Nancy that stood out: 1. The communication was exceptional, and there was never a question that went unanswered, or if there was a problem, it was explained in detail with several options – when available – spelled out for us. 2. The attention to detail was far beyond that of other contractors I have seen. Nancy crafted trim detail to all of our ceilings that complemented the house style. The house was always left in a neat state and clean. 3. Jim and Nancy cared about us. All of our work needed to be completed in a very specific time window, as my wife was due to deliver our second child. We were kept up to date on job progress, and Jim stepped in to complete four days of additional work that was unexpectedly necessary – and still completed everything in the original time frame. In short, Jim and Nancy made our newly purchased house into a home for our family."
